Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Government, in relation to patients who live outside the NHS Highland area and are being treated at the National Treatment Centre – Highland, what support for (a) travel costs will any such patients be entitled to, and whether any such support will extend to the patient’s family, and (b) accommodation costs will any such patients’ family members be entitled to in order to ensure that they can accompany those undergoing treatment at the facility, and, in each instance, who will cover any such costs.
