To ask the Scottish Government how many (a) missing children and (b) missing adult incidents were reported to Police Scotland in each year since 2010, broken down by local authority area.

Police Scotland collate missing persons statistics and have provided information from the legacy National Missing Person Database and the current National Missing Person Application which is used to record data on missing people.

Prior to 2016 missing persons incidents recorded by the Police Scotland were recorded and broken down by police divisional areas not by individual local authorities. From 2016 Police Scotland has been recording and reporting both missing persons incidents and missing persons episodes.

A missing person incident is an instance where Police Scotland receive a call reporting a missing person and the incident is logged on the command and control system (STORM). A missing person episode is when someone is reported missing to Police Scotland and a police investigation is then initiated and recorded.

Therefore, depending on the circumstances, a missing person incident may or may not become a missing person episode, such as when someone is reported missing and found quickly without the need for a full investigation.

To ask the Scottish Government what the original estimated date was for roads to open to traffic following the completion of the Haudagain Improvement project, and what the current estimated date is.

The A92 A96 Haudagain Improvement project, which was anticipated to be complete in winter 2021, has faced a number of challenges including the impact of the pandemic continuing to disrupt progress. The contractor has indicated a revised date for completing the works, with the Improvement now due to open to traffic by the end of March 2022 as detailed in the recent press release available on the Transport Scotland website at: https://www.transport.gov.scot/news/a92a96-haudagain-improvement-update-to-expected-completion-date/ .

To ask the Scottish Government how long the current waiting list is for rape survivors at each rape crisis centre.

According to Rape Crisis Scotland, as of October 2020 and December 2021 waiting list times for each centre were as follows:

We know that having to wait for support has a real life impact on rape survivors, who deserve to be able to access the support they need. It is deeply concerning that referrals to services have increased during the pandemic. That is why within the first 100 days of this government, we directed new funding of £5m to Rape Crisis centres and domestic abuse services to help cut waiting lists and in 2020 we invested an additional £5.75m to various organisations including Rape Crisis Scotland to allow the rapid redesign of services and meet increased demand.

To ask the Scottish Government what plans it has to reopen the NHS Louisa Jordan in order to increase capacity within the health service.

The Louisa Jordan was always intended to be a temporary facility to provide additional capacity at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the effectiveness of efforts to suppress the virus, hospitalisations were reduced, NHS capacity was maintained, and NHS Louisa Jordan did not have to be used as a Covid hospital. If NHS Louisa Jordan were reopened, it would mean the disruptive reassignment of NHS staff from other critical NHS sites, which are already at high capacity.

To ask the Scottish Government whether NHS boards require pregnant medical staff to work in settings where there are patients with COVID-19.

The Department for Health and Social Care guidance for pregnant women in the workplace, covers NHS staff in all settings in Scotland and we have taken steps to ensure it is applied. The guidance clearly states that all pregnant staff must have a workplace risk assessment and can only continue working if the risk assessment says, it is safe for them to do so.

If a risk is identified employers must adjust their working conditions to remove the risk or offer alternative work on the same terms and conditions. If this is not possible then the member of staff will be asked not to attend work, but will continue to be paid as if at work. This ensures there is no detriment to NHS staff.

We continue to promote the use of risk assessments across Health and Social Care and on an individual, case by case basis.

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on the Warmer Homes Scotland scheme.

Warmer Homes Scotland helps those living in or at risk of fuel poverty through installing insulation and heating measures. Since launch in 2015, more than £160 million has been invested through the scheme, helping over 25,000 households throughout Scotland.

Customer satisfaction levels have remained consistently high, with 100% of customers reporting they were satisfied with the service they received this financial year from a response rate of 82% of customers contacted.

The Warmer Homes Scotland budget allocation has been increased to £50 million for 2021/22 and will be further increased to £55 million for 2022-23.
