That the Parliament welcomes West Lothian Council’s house building programme; understands that, in 2012, the local authority committed itself to building 1,000 new council homes; is encouraged at reports that every council ward in West Lothian will see new houses being built for rent, and believes that this will allow residents to access well designed modern homes and help boost the local economy.
