Education sessions for schools
We deliver education sessions to thousands of Scottish pupils every year – in the Scottish Parliament, by visiting your school, or online.
Our sessions:
- are designed to develop the principles of democracy and citizenship
- are in line with A Curriculum for Excellence and the Modern Studies Curriculum
- contribute to political literacy aims.

Book education sessions
Bookings for Tuesday 22 April to Friday 27 June are open but limited.
Visits to the Scottish Parliament with tours are fully booked through to w/c 16 June. We only have availability for afternoon sessions with tickets for Chamber Business in May and June. Before submitting a booking form for visits to the Parliament, please check our calendar for availability.
Bookings for Visits to schools are closed for this academic term as we are fully booked through to the end of June.

You can note in ‘Additional Information’ if you would like us to hold your booking on a waiting list in case suitable sessions become available. Please note, you cannot book sessions AND be held on the waiting list for the same class/classes.
