Education sessions for schools

We deliver education sessions to thousands of Scottish pupils every year – in the Scottish Parliament, by visiting your school, or online.

Our sessions:

  • are designed to develop the principles of democracy and citizenship
  • are in line with A Curriculum for Excellence and the Modern Studies Curriculum
  • contribute to political literacy aims.

All education sessions and resources are free of charge. The content of these sessions is largely the same, whether you are coming to the Parliament, doing an online session or if we visit your school. We cannot offer financial assistance for travel.

Book education sessions

Bookings for April (after Easter) to June will open on Monday 3 February at 8am.

We have limited availability for Visits to schools in March, and good availability for Online Education Sessions throughout.
