  • Motion reference: S6M-05593

That the Parliament welcomes the recent Scottish Young Carers Festival, organised by Carers Trust Scotland; understands that this was the first in-person Scottish Young Carers Festival since 2019; further understands that there were over 350 young people taking part in a range of different activities over the three-day festival; thanks Carers Trust Scotland for its hard work in organising a great event; believes that young carers work incredibly hard to look after loved ones; considers that young carers need decision makers in Scotland to listen to them and allow their lived experience to inform policy going forward, and extends its gratitude to all carers in Scotland for everything that they do for vulnerable people in society.
