That the Parliament acknowledges the exciting news that the National Lottery Heritage Fund has recently awarded a grant of £247,922 to "Restoring the Living Heritage of Coille a' Thorra Ghairbh Applecross", which is a project run by Applecross Community Company in the Highlands and Islands region; recognises that the project aims to restore the site to Atlantic rainforest habitat, improving its biodiversity while simultaneously “re-storying” and promoting its archaeological features, and believes that the project will put Applecross on the map for community-led restoration, regenerative tourism and heritage activities that enhance local, regional and international audiences.
