Port Glasgow GP Retires After 32 Years

  • Submitted by: Stuart McMillan, Greenock and Inverclyde, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 04 April 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-03890

That the Parliament wishes Dr Joseph Boyce a happy retirement after having worked at Port Glasgow Medical Centre for 32 years, treating generations of families in Inverclyde during his career; understands that Dr Boyce was overwhelmed by good wishes from his colleagues and patients, who have said his cheery nature will be missed; further understands that Dr Boyce has trained numerous new doctors coming into general practice over the years, and wishes him all the best for his retirement as he looks to indulge his passion for cycling and plans to do a stage of the Tour de France course in 2022.
