That the Parliament congratulates Maryhill Park Community Garden on its recent Keep Scotland Beautiful Green Flag Community Award; notes that this is the second time that Maryhill Community Garden has been given the prestigious award, having been successful last year also; commends the determination and enthusiasm of volunteers who continue to enhance the community garden despite it having been badly affected by frequent vandalism and anti-social behaviour during the pandemic; pays tribute to all those volunteers involved in securing the award in such challenging circumstances; highlights the benefits that the community garden brings to Maryhill Park and the local community, as well as the work that the community garden volunteers and all involved, more generally, with Friends of Maryhill Park, carry out in tending to the green spaces and park environment, and wishes all involved with the community garden the very best for the future.
