  • Submitted by: Jeremy Balfour, Lothian, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 05 October 2021
  • Motion reference: S6M-01504

That the Parliament congratulates Penumbra, whose Alcohol-related Brain Damage Toolkit won the Resource of the Year category at the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland Self Management Awards; understands that Penumbra is one of the country's leading mental health organisations and provides a range of community-based mental health support services, including alcohol-related brain damage services in Glasgow and Edinburgh; considers that the Toolkit is a valuable resource to help support self-management approaches, and recognises the vital role played by the voice of lived experience both in developing the Toolkit and with service design more generally.
