That the Parliament welcomes the achievement of Aberdour’s beaches, Silver Sands and Black Sands, on being named, once again, in Scotland’s Beach Awards, organised by Keep Scotland Beautiful; notes that, having held the award for 28 consecutive years, the Silver Sands is one of the top four longest running award winners in Scotland; further notes that, allowing for a two-year hiatus, the Black Sands has now held the award for a total of 20 years; recognises that Scotland's Beach Awards are the benchmark for quality, celebrating clean, well-managed and sustainable beaches; wishes visitors to Aberdour, and all of Scotland’s beaches, good weather this summer, and supports another of Keep Scotland Beautiful’s campaigns, reminding people to #BinYourLitter or take it home.
