Congratulations to Joanne Saurin, Empty Homes Officer, Fife Council

That the Parliament congratulates Joanne Saurin, an empty homes officer for Fife Council, on winning the outstanding individual award at the Scottish Empty Homes Conference; notes the judges’ recognition for Joanne's "amazing work" with the Council, which has included bringing 395 properties back in to use since taking up her post in 2014; further notes that, even during the COVID-19 pandemic, Joanne has worked to review the council’s empty homes strategy, and wishes her continued success in her important role of turning empty houses into homes for people that need them.
