That the Parliament congratulates the British Transport Police (BTP) on actively supporting the health regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic; notes that BTP Communications Manager, Emma Manno, along with Inspector Ryan Tierney and Sergeant Mark Harrington recently went to Glasgow’s Anniesland railway station to explain the initiative around face covering compliance, using the four Es approach of Engage, Explain, Encourage and Enforce, and spent time explaining the need for face coverings by speaking to local train travellers with a friendly word and a nod, which was well received by all, and thanks them and the BTP for their support in these challenging times.
