That the Parliament congratulates Nancy Hunter on being awarded a Teaching of Physics Award by the Institute of Physics, in recognition of her success in raising the profile of physics and science at Anderson High School and previously at Scalloway Junior High School in Shetland; understands that she has contributed immeasurably to secondary school science teaching, both locally, through her work in local high schools and nationally, due to her work producing national resources for the Higher Physics course; considers that Nancy is highly regarded by pupils, teachers, staff and parents and that her work will have helped to inspire another generation of physicists and researchers, who will undoubtedly be relied on even further as future challenges are tackled; thanks Nancy for all her work to date, and wishes her the very best for the future.
