That the Parliament congratulates 15-year-old Leonei Coates from the Glenrothes Rising Phoenix martial arts club, who recently competed in the BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) Junior World Championships in Wolverhampton and won five gold medals; notes that the Glenwood High School pupil fought in both her own weight category and the weight category above, as well as the merged weight category, known as the absolute division, in both Gi and No-Gi, which are the two forms of BJJ, over two days; acknowledges that Leonei’s dad, Jamie Henderson, who is also her instructor, played a significant part in her award-winning victory, and wishes Leonei the very best in the future with her martial arts and in life.
