That the Parliament congratulates the Longhope Lifeboat Museum Trust on raising over £9,000 in just a few days after launching a fundraising appeal for essential maintenance and repairs to the former lifeboat shed and slipway; understands that £2,245 came from online donations and that £7,020 was received from cheques in the post; notes that the aim of the trust is to raise £30,000 ahead of events in 2019 for the 50th anniversary of the Longhope Lifeboat Disaster; commends all who have generously donated to help the important work of Longhope Lifeboat Museum Trust in preserving the maritime museum for future generations, and wishes all trust volunteers the very best for the future.
