That the Parliament congratulates the Wee Kelpie fish and chip shop in Helensburgh on being named the Best Takeaway in Scotland at the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards; understands that the Wee Kelpie was defending its title, as it was originally awarded this in 2014 and the category has not been part of the awards since; understands that the chip shop owners, Kerr and Nicola Raeburn, have enjoyed further success in 2018 having recently been awarded Best Fish and Chip Shop for south west Scotland at the Italian Awards; believes that its continued success is a shining example of the excellent quality of food and customer service that it is famous for locally, and wishes the shop every success for the future.
