Fundraising for Kira Noble

  • Submitted by: Jeremy Balfour, Lothian, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Thursday, 05 April 2018
  • Motion reference: S5M-11499

That the Parliament wishes Kira Noble and her family the best of luck as they continue fundraising to pay for Kira to travel to New York to undergo major surgery to remove a tumour from her stomach; notes that Kira, who is 14, has neuroblastoma for the third time; further notes that the surgery to remove the tumour is vastly complicated with only two surgeons in the world capable of performing this, and understands that Kira’s family are focussing all their efforts on raising the funds required to pay for the operation that one of the surgeons has agreed to perform.
