That the Parliament salutes Malcolm Allan butchers in Falkirk for its efforts in sending steak pies and lorne sausage to Cyprus to feed 250 soldiers from the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards for Christmas; understands that Scotland’s most senior and only regular cavalry regiment is working as part of a UN peacekeeping force and specifically requested Malcolm Allan steak pies and lorne sausage due to the butcher’s high-quality produce being a favourite of the soldiers and a nice reminder of home; recognises the vital role that the Armed Forces play in keeping us safe at home and abroad; notes with concern recent surveys showing one-in-four Armed Forces family members feel that their loved one's situation has had an impact on their own mental health and wellbeing, and that only 5% would seek help from a mental health professional; calls on everyone to get behind the Help for Heroes campaign, You are not alone, as part of its Hidden Wounds initiative, which helps Armed Forces personnel, veterans and their families seek the support that they need and rightly deserve; commends Malcolm Allan for its support for Armed Forces personnel serving abroad, and thanks these people for their continued commitment to keeping us safe wherever they are in the world.
