That the Parliament congratulates the members of 2180 (Galashiels) Squadron RAF Air Cadets, who recently won a number of medals in the South East Scotland Wing Aircraft Recognition Competition, held at HMS Caledonia in Fife; commends the squadron's under-16 team, which took first place, as well as the gold medal in the junior contest, and notes that the Master Trophy was also won by Wing Commander Colin McCrae; further notes that the seniors took the bronze medal in the open event; understands that the under-16 team will represent south-east Scotland in the Scotland and Northern Ireland contest at HMS Caledonia in October 2017; acknowledges the hard work and practice required by both teams, and wishes the under-16s the best of luck in the next stage of the contest.
