That the Parliament commends Nathan McNaughton, who is a photography student from Kilmarnock, on spending the summer by volunteering to English to impoverished children at the Oasis de Esperanza school in Colombia; regrets that Nathan was subject to an attack at knifepoint in Bogota, during which he lost the camera equipment that he was using to document his experiences, cash and mobile phone; applauds him on his resilience and maturity in dealing with such a dangerous situation; wishes him well in his efforts to crowdfund replacement equipment to help progress his future career in photography and film, and recognises that Nathan is a credit to his family and to Scotland.
