That the Parliament welcomes the Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2017’s Royal Navy theme utilising the new aircraft carriers that are built at Rosyth, which is evident from the large sign on the outer edge of the East Stand that people see as they approach the Esplanade; notes that suspended underneath the stand there is a full-scale model of the new F-35 Lightning II aircraft, which will operate on the new carriers and which the public walk beneath as they arrive at the venue, and further notes that the finale of each performance will be held on the symbolised flight deck of the Rosyth-built HMS Queen Elizabeth.
