Highlands and Islands Hotels Win Awards

That the Parliament congratulates everyone at the Lochaber-based hotels, the Loch Leven in Kinlochleven, Glenfinnan House in Glenfinnan and the Inverlochy Castle in Fort William on winning awards at the 14th Scottish Hotels Awards in Glasgow; notes that the Loch Leven was awarded the title for best bar, Glenfinnan House was named the best country house hotel and the Inverlochy Castle Hotel won the best luxury establishment award; also congratulates the Scalloway Hotel in Shetland on winning the informal dining restaurant category and the Skeabost House Hotel in Skye, which was named as the island hotel of the year; acknowledges the endeavour of the management and staff in these hotels on providing quality service, accommodation and hospitality that has attracted tourists from far and wide; believes that this has a positive impact on local economies, and wishes the businesses, staff and management continued success.
