Larbert High School Education Scotland Report

That the Parliament congratulates Larbert High School on its most recent report from Education Scotland, which rates the school as either very good or excellent in each area of evaluation; understands that the school has strengths in a number of areas, including collaborative approaches to developing and implementing a shared vision across the school and cluster, meaning that the school can demonstrate very effective planning for continuous improvement and an appropriate pace of change, high levels of staff engagement in professional learning, which is leading to continuous improvement in learning and teaching, strong outcomes; recognises the strong outcomes in relation to wellbeing and highly effective approaches to inclusion, equity and equality resulting in almost all young people feeling very well supported and able to achieve, the positive attributes and skills that young people develop as a result of their extensive participation in opportunities for achievement and outstanding strategic leadership of the headteacher and the culture of purposeful leadership at all levels; considers that the staff and pupils of Larbert High School, and Falkirk Council, should be incredibly proud of this report and that they should continue their work to maintain this high level of standards, and wishes continued success and achievement to all pupils and staff at the school.
