That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen, Greenock Morton, Rangers and Celtic football clubs on reaching the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup; regrets that the SPFL has arranged a lunchtime kick off for Aberdeen vs Greenock Morton semi-final at Hampden on 22 October 2016; agrees with Aberdeen FC that its supporters are disadvantaged by travelling from the north east to make the 12.15 pm kick-off time; notes that the Rangers vs Celtic semi-final the following day will kick off at 2.15 pm despite being held in the home city of both clubs; understands that the preference of Aberdeen FC is for the game to kick off later on the Saturday to ensure that the semi-final can be enjoyed by as many fans as possible; believes that the current kick-off time could prevent many fans from the north of Scotland from making the trip, and calls on the SPFL to listen to the travelling supporters, who it considers the lifeblood of Scottish football clubs, and reconsider the scheduling of this Scottish League Cup tie.
