  • Motion reference: S6M-19467

That the Parliament congratulates Shetland fishmonger Island Fish, which is based in Lerwick, on being named winner of the Sea to Plate Provenance Award at the 2025 Fishmonger of the Year Awards; understands that the award, which is presented by the National Federation of Fishmongers, rewards Island Fish for exceptional provenance from sea-to-plate and ensuring that Shetland-landed fish reaches customers with quality and trust; further understands that Island Fish often displays information about where its fish has come from, which helps customers choose species caught by local boats; notes that some of Island Fish’s offerings are caught by John Martin Tulloch and Willum Tulloch of Island Fish in their own boat, Adventure LK560; believes that this award recognises the hard work of the Island Fish team; commends them for their dedication to providing local fish, and wishes all at Island Fish well and all the best for the future.
