That the Parliament congratulates Peebles cyclist, Callum Thornley, on winning the King of the Mountains jersey during the opening stage of 2024's Tour of Britain, which took place in the Scottish Borders; recognises Callum's performance in conquering the challenging climbs of Scott's View, Dingleton, and Dunion Hills against some of the world's best riders; congratulates Oscar Onley for his strong performance during the race in his home town of Kelso; wishes both Callum and Oscar continued success in their cycling careers, inspiring others in the Scottish Borders and across the South Scotland region to take up cycling, and commits to supporting young people in their cycling endeavours.
