  • Submitted by: David Torrance, Kirkcaldy, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Thursday, 05 September 2024
  • Motion reference: S6M-14282

That the Parliament recognises that Asda has launched a new funding scheme to donate £7.5 million to state primary schools across Scotland and the rest of the UK; understands that the initiative will be delivered in partnership with charity, Parentkind; further understands that the scheme, Cashpot for Schools, will allow families to raise money for their own local school, and believes that this funding will benefit children in classrooms throughout Scotland.
