Island of Rum Named Scotland's First Dark Sky Sanctuary

That the Parliament congratulates the Island of Rum on its designation as Scotland's first Dark Sky Sanctuary; recognises the island's exceptional night skies, making it a premier destination for stargazing; acknowledges the efforts of the local community and conservationists in preserving the natural environment and promoting sustainable tourism, and commends Rum for its dedication to protecting its unique natural heritage for future generations.
