That the Parliament recognises that Professor Lis Neubeck, head of the Centre for Cardiovascular Health at Edinburgh Napier University, has received the Outstanding Achievement Award; notes that Lis was celebrated for her tireless dedication and passion for nursing innovation and research, which, it understands, has revolutionised health care delivery, particularly in the realm of spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) in Scotland; considers that, through her innovative strategies and commitment to person-centred care, she has significantly improved patient experiences and outcomes; notes that Professor Neubeck's work began with identifying challenges in accessing specialist care for SCAD patients, leading to her research and eventual establishment of a SCAD clinic in Scotland; understands that her collaboration with colleagues and outreach to specialists in different fields, like menopause specialists, showcases her holistic approach to health care; commends what it considers to be her rigorous research methods that have not only advanced the understanding of SCAD but also informed policy development, shaping the future of health care in Scotland, and congratulates Lis on her Outstanding Achievement Award.
