Congratulating Paul McKenzie and Boogie Box Jive Dance Group

That the Parliament congratulates Paul McKenzie and Boogie Box Jive Dance Group for all that they have achieved in West Dunbartonshire; understands that the group was started in the Dumbarton Denny Club over 20 years ago by providing jive classes for people aged 14 and over; recognises that, during this time, it has raised over £200,000 for local and national charities, such as the Beatson Cancer Charity, Glasgow Children's Hospital and the Skylark Trust; notes that the group has visited nearly every care home in West Dunbartonshire to put on a jive demonstration for older people to enjoy free of charge; understands that the group also brings the joy of jive to the patients in the stroke and dementia wards at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital every month, and thanks everyone involved for all that they have done and continue to do to raise funds and bring enjoyment to people's lives.
