Scottish Seabird Centre Awarded Grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund

That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Seabird Centre, located in the beautiful coastal town of North Berwick, East Lothian, on being awarded £249,685 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund; understands that the project, "A resilient future: for people, nature and our charity”, aims to provide the capacity needed for the Scottish Seabird Centre to review operations, explore opportunities to strengthen source of income, as well as provide the opportunity to begin to address requirements for environmental sustainability; further understands that, for over 20 years, the Scottish Seabird Centre has been helping people to learn about Scotland’s marine wildlife, habitats and iconic seabirds, and wishes all at the centre success with the project.
