That the Parliament acknowledges what it sees as the significance of Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Week 2023, and the impact of rheumatoid arthritis on individuals in Scotland; commends the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) for its dedicated efforts in advancing research, advocacy, and support for those affected by rheumatoid arthritis; recognises the importance of early diagnosis, timely access to treatment, and ongoing support for individuals living with rheumatoid arthritis; appreciates the valuable information, resources, and platforms provided by charities to raise awareness and facilitate dialogue on rheumatoid arthritis; applauds Arthritis Awareness Week 2023 for its range of informative webinars, patient stories, and opportunities for engagement with healthcare professionals, and encourages dialogue between healthcare providers, patients and policymakers to enhance the quality of care and support available for rheumatoid arthritis in Scotland.
