That the Parliament congratulates Loch Lomond Group on having reached a new deal with Asda to list three of its new whisky lines in more than 50 Asda stores across Scotland; believes that the contract will be welcome news to employees at the Loch Lomond Group’s Alexandria distillery; notes that the new products are the Loch Lomond 10-year-old single malt whisky, classic single malt whisky, and Glen Scotia Campbeltown Harbour malt whisky; acknowledges that the first two products are distilled at Loch Lomond’s renowned whisky distillery, offering unique distilling methods, including swan and straight neck stills, as well as in-house cooperage, and believes that the partnership between Loch Lomond Group and Asda will allow for a wider distribution and recognition of high-quality local Scotch whisky across the country.
