  • Motion reference: S6M-07549

That the Parliament congratulates Kirkcaldy charity, The Cottage Family Centre, after being awarded £20,000 in National Lottery funding for a new project aimed at supporting those in the Kingdom of Fife, who, it understands, must make the decision between heating and eating; understands that the five-figure sum will help to fund the Snug as a Bug project, which aims to ensure that the charity can support those experiencing significant hardship this winter; commends The Cottage Centre for its dedication in helping some of the most vulnerable in the community; understands that it has seen an unprecedented number of referrals over the last 12 months as the cost of living crisis worsens for families in Fife, and wishes the charity all the best for the future and any other projects that it embarks on.
