Castlemilk Explorers Wildlife Watch Group

That the Parliament congratulates Castlemilk Explorers Wildlife Watch Group on winning Scottish Wildlife Trust’s – Trustees’ Achievement Award; understands that the group has been recognised for its commitment and dedication to developing a curiosity and understanding of the wildlife and plants in Castlemilk Park, for children aged seven to 12 years, by covering topics such as climate change, land use and responsible access in a fun and engaging manner; commends Cassiltoun Housing Association for starting the group and the support given to volunteers to run the sessions enabling the securement, for some, of employment in nature conservation and outdoor education, and acknowledges that the Scottish Wildlife Trust’s involvement of volunteers is supported by the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
