Perth Man Receives Award for Helping Rescue Ukrainian children

That the Parliament congratulates Perth man, Steve Carr, who has received a Special Recognition award for helping Ukrainian children; notes that Mr Carr received the award at the recent Daily Record Pride of Scotland awards; further notes that he founded the charity, Dnipro Kids, after travelling Hibernian FC fans forged links with a local orphanage when the Scottish team played Dnipro in the UEFA Cup in 2005; recognises how the charity rescued 50 children from five orphanages in Ukraine following the invasion of Russia by transporting them to Scotland, and wishes Dnipro Kids all the best for the future.
