Whiteness Primary Pupils to Take Part in Euroquiz Final

That the Parliament congratulates the team of Primary 6 pupils from Whiteness Primary School in Shetland on earning their place in the Euroquiz final alongside teams from across Scotland; understands that the Euroquiz is an annual project that is organised by the charity Scottish European Educational Trust in which teams of four Primary 6 pupils work together to broaden their knowledge of Europe and the wider world; notes that the final takes place in the Parliament's debating chamber on 13 June 2022; celebrates the Whiteness Primary School team’s achievement in reaching the final after heats in Shetland; acknowledges what it sees as the importance of events such as Euroquiz, which aim to build young people’s skills, knowledge and confidence, and wishes the team from Whiteness Primary School and their fellow competitors well in the forthcoming final.
