  • Submitted by: Murdo Fraser, Mid Scotland and Fife, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 03 May 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-04218

That the Parliament congratulates Scone-based builders, Allan Robertson and Son on being in business for 100 years, having started back in April 1922; understands that the family-run Perthshire business is now in its fourth generation, with the next already on the books; further understands that their most memorable projects include transforming the nearby Balformo Hotel into the Wheel Inn, handling the main contractor role for the major renovation of Perth’s A-listed St Ninian’s Cathedral and rebuilding walls and preserving historic gravestones in Perth’s Greyfriars Cemetery in 2000, and wishes Allan Robertson and Son all the best for the future.
