Congratulations to St David’s Brass Band on £127,251 Award from UK Government’s Community Ownership Funds

That the Parliament notes that St David’s Brass Band have acquired Vogrie Hall in Gorebridge for £1,000; understands that Vogrie Hall was a widely-used community hall at the heart of Midlothian, which closed in 2020 due to an urgent need for refurbishment; further understands that St David’s Brass Band have raised £270,000 to renovate the hall; congratulates the band on being awarded a further £127,251 as part of the UK Government’s Community Ownership Funds, and wishes the band well in refurbishing and repairing Vogrie Hall.
