Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Government what (a) direct and (b) indirect implications it anticipates that the UK Procurement Act 2023 will have for the (i) Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, (ii) Utilities Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2016 and (iii) Concession Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2016, for the providers of private procurement frameworks, and what its position is on whether this could delay the procurement and award of any key projects.
