Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Government what its position is on the report in The Sunday Post on 2 November 2014 that 900 NHS employees have been accused of breaching the Data Protection Act 1998 and what information it has on how many cases have subsequently been reported to the Scottish Information Commissioner.

To ask the Scottish Government, in light of the Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisation's recent report that recommends offering the human papillomavirus vaccine at sexual health clinics to men who have sex with men, whether it will introduce such a programme and, if so, when this will begin, whether it will be accompanied with a public awareness campaign and what schedule of vaccinations will be required.
