Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Executive what its position is on the view of Her Majesty's Government in respect of the application of EU procurement rules to large-scale voluntary transfer, set out in Arms Length Management of Local Authority Housing - A Consultation Paper in December 2000 and whether any procurement of Glasgow City Council housing services and assets by Glasgow Housing Association would be compliant with EU procurement rules.
