Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answers to questions S6W-32965 and S6W-32957 by Angus Robertson on 15 January 2025 what (a) role it plays in supporting Police Scotland to develop and review protocols for managing the discovery of unexploded wartime military ordnance near critical infrastructure, including ports and transport hubs, (b) oversight it has of Police Scotland’s processes for evaluating any risks posed by such ordnance to critical infrastructure and (c) measures it has taken to ensure that these processes align with national security strategies.
