Decisions on Taking Business in Private

I welcome members to the 17th meeting in 2019 of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee. We have a couple of items to clear before we get under way with the real business.

Under agenda item 1, the committee is invited to decide whether to take item 4—consideration of standing order rule changes—in private. Do members agree to take that item in private?

Under agenda item 2, the committee is invited to decide whether to consider its work programme in private at a future meeting. Do members agree to do that?
