Justice Sub-Committee on Policing (Report Back)
Our next agenda item is verbal feedback from the convener of the Justice Sub-Committee on Policing on its meeting of 12 January 2017. I refer members to paper 3. I invite Mary Fee to provide that feedback, after which there will be an opportunity for members to make comments or ask questions.
The Justice Sub-Committee on Policing met last week to agree its findings on the draft stop and search code of practice and its forward work programme. A letter outlining the sub-committee’s views and an updated work programme are included in paper 3. I am happy to answer any questions or listen to comments.
If there are no comments or questions, we will move on to the next item, which we have agreed to take in private.
The next committee meeting will be on 21 February, when we will take evidence on the Limitation (Childhood Abuse) (Scotland) Bill and consider our draft report on the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service inquiry.
