5 Legislative Consent Memorandums (in private):

The Committee considered the wider themes stemming from the Committee’s scrutiny in session 6 of delegated powers in UK Bills for UK Ministers to make secondary legislation in devolved areas, including further consideration of the relevant aspects of the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Bill and the Professional Qualifications Bill. The Committee agreed to write to the UK Government, Scottish Government  and the Constitution, Europe, External Affairs and Culture Committee.


6 High Speed Rail (Crewe - Manchester) Bill (in private):

The Committee considered responses received from the UK Government and the Scottish Government on the delegate powers provisions in this Bill and agreed to report to the Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee. It also agreed to write to the UK Government.
