The Summit, which will take place in person at the Scottish Parliament and online on Saturday 21 February will bring together disabled people, carers, advocates and allies to reflect on progress and look to the future.
As Scotland heads towards the next election, we would like to invite disabled people in Scotland, and their organisations, to discuss ideas for change. What you would like to see your Parliament achieve in order to create a more inclusive society. What progress do you want to see around transport, social care, inclusive education, social security and voting?
Come along to share your ideas, speak with MSPs, and help shape a more inclusive future for Scotland.

This is a hybrid event, so you can attend online or in-person. In-person spaces are limited.
Please register your interest by completing the registration form. You'll be asked to provide your individual access and support requirements. This will help ensure our event and guest experience is as inclusive and accessible as possible.
Registering your interest does not guarantee you an in-person space at the Summit. We will confirm if you have secured a space to attend the Summit in-person by email, in the week beginning Monday 12 January 2026.

Accessibility
If you require communication support to attend in-person such as a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter, electronic notetaker or palantypist please let us know when registering your interest to attend.
We will do everything we can to ensure that support is available but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee it. There is a huge demand for these services in Scotland and not enough BSL interpreters/Electronic notetakers to meet that demand.

On the day of the Summit, we will use Scottish Parliament TV to record and broadcast the debating chamber meetings and the online workshop to digital delegates. A photographer will also be present. If you are a delegate or speaker, your image and what you say during participation will be captured on video. This may be used on the Parliament’s social media channels such as Facebook and Instagram. Further information is available in our Broadcasting and Photography Privacy Notice.
