That the Parliament recognises the fundraising efforts of the Myles family to support Strathcarron Hospice in honour of their late loved one, Linda Myles; understands that the decision to raise funds for the service followed Linda’s time there, with her family and friends seeking to recognise the care and support that they all received from Strathcarron Hospice; further understands that since Linda’s passing, her family and friends have championed a variety of fundraising challenges, including the final event in their series of fundraisers, a Summer Ceilidh; recognises that their efforts provided the vital funds to renovate two existing rooms at Strathcarron Hospice from a laundry and changing room into two ensuite family overnight rooms; believes that these rooms will provide support and comfort for family members of loved ones in the end stages of their life, allowing them to remain close by at such a difficult time; congratulates and thanks the family and friends of Linda Myles for their fundraising efforts, and wishes them all the best for the future.
