That the Parliament celebrates five years of Inverness Creative Academy, the Highlands’ first major creative hub; understands that the academy offers a creative space for local artists to create and exhibit their work; notes that the space is also being used to support people struggling with loneliness, anxiety and isolation by offering free creative sessions focused on mental wellbeing; considers that the space is vital in connecting, engaging and inspiring people in the community; notes that there is currently an exhibition, ICA at 5, celebrating the anniversary, which includes over 70 pieces of art inspired by the location and runs until 11 November 2024, and congratulates everyone who has been involved and made use of the creative space over the past five years to reach this milestone.
