That the Parliament congratulates Adeeba Ahmad, who is hoping to make a difference with a special charity Bollywood Bash event to raise money for Teenagers and Young Adults with Cancer, an organisation that treats and cares for those affected by the disease across the UK; notes that Adeeba wants to make sure that the night is a fun way to raise funds for a wonderful cause, with a vibrant celebration of Bollywood; understands that the event will be hosted by Atta Yaqub, who is famous for starring in Ken Loach's Ae Fond Kiss, along with Rupa Mooker; further understands that the night of music, dance and culture will embrace all things Bollywood, with attendees being encouraged to wear traditional attire and immerse themselves in the colourful world of Bollywood; acknowledges that guests can experience live performances, delicious food and a lively atmosphere; recognises that Adeeba has been collating raffle and auction prizes with help from some local sponsorship, which includes Three Brothers, Swaran, Peppermint Lounge and Kahani in Edinburgh, and notes that the charity event will take place on 14 November 2024 at Oran Mor in the west end of Glasgow.
